I have got to say that i was very impressed with the Villa and would definitely recommend this to friends or anyone wishing to have a nice relaxing holiday. The Villa has everything the modern living person needs and wants. I cant actually think of any negatives points and would definitely think about booking this Villa again. Hiring a car is a good idea. There is a local bar which is about 5 minutes walk from the Villa and you can walk into San Vicente Del Raspeig which is about 40 minutes or you can catch the bus just oustide of the Villa. San Vicente Del Raspeig is mostly a spanish speaking place but you can get by with a little bit of pidgeon spanish. We managed to meet and make friends with a couple of people the ran a few bars in San Vicente Del Raspeig. If your looking for a Nice Holiday Villa near Alicante then this is the one you need to Book. You wont be disappointed that is for sure - Simon from Peterborough

I spent an enjoyable sunny and hot 5 days in this basic but clean and good value villa during September 2009. Located on the fringe of a nice residential area, the villa is 10 mins walk away from the good local shop and ideally situated a couple of minutes away from the main road to the coast and Alicante and 10 minutes drive away from the surprisingly metropolitan San Vicente. Inside, the living rooms have air-con and the accomodation is fairly spacious. The pool and patio area is a good size although the pool was a little dirty and the fencing around this area was no longer in place, so made it quite exposed. This property offers affordable, clean, basic accommodation. It is far from grand, but what the villa lacks in embellishments, it gains in service. Colin and Tina (and their gorgeous cocker spaniel puppy Cassie) were amazing. Incredibly helpful, attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. When its windy the pool can get dust blown in from the stables next door, (from where we were treated to impromptu performances by beautiful andalusian horses being schooled in the adjacent paddock). Colin ensured that the pool was kept clean and clear for us with regular attention. Cant praise the service high enough!! - Judi from Southampton

The villa was in an excellent position, 10 minutes walk to bar/restaurant and shop. Easy walk into San Vincent and 10 minutes taxi ride into Alicante nightlife. The hospitality within the bar/restaurant was absolutely fantastic, well recommended. The property was clean and tidy with plenty of fresh bedding and towels. It has everything you need for a holiday and my girlfriends and I will definitely be going back again next year - Maria from Plymouth

"Had a great 2 weeks in the villa at the end of september. Even though the weather was awful the first week, we found plenty to do. The villa is great, all clean and has everything you need and more for a perfect familt holiday. The pool is lovely and plenty of sun bathing area (that is if you get sun). Location we found was superb as only short drive from town etc, would definately recommend a car if staying as villa is in quite a rural area, and dark at night. "This villa is definitely value for money.The pool was fantastic and great for volley ball and other water games.As on the other review, watching the horses doing their tricks was good entertainment. San Vicente was alot bigger than we first thought and the Saturday market was great. All in all had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend the villa for a lovely peaceful family holiday. Paul was very helpful with a couple of minor problems we had,got them sorted out straight away. "We had a wonderful stay in the villa. Having the pool was marvellous and the house was equipped with all we needed. We were entertained daily by the frogs in the pond next door (the evening chorus was particularly amusing) but didnt find any of the mosquitos mentioned in a previous review. The riding stables next door were also entertaining, especially when the horses were practising their dance steps. We were delighted to find that the local bar is also a restaurant where the service was wonderful and we got to try many local dishes which were beautifully cooked by Mama in the kitchen. The local buses were always on time and very reasonably priced and when armed with a print out from GoogleMaps showing the villa we had no problem with taxis. "Villa good value for money having the pool is great. We did have a problem getting home by taxis from san vicente, drivers did not know the address. The villa is great, supplied with everything we needed and was very spacious. Having the internet access was fantastic, and the phone line was great. The pool was lovely, and easy to maintain, although we would have liked it to be a bit cleaner when we arrived. The transfers were great, easily organized, and the guys were very helpful. It was lovely to have the peace and quiet of the area. However if you wanted to go any further than the local shop I would highly recommend hiring a car. The local town is more than a 40min walk away. There is a bus stop across from the villa. Luckily we found an English taxi driver who agreed to pick us up on a couple of nights to go out, and our Spanish soon picked up when we had to direct a driver back again. All in all we had a great time, I would go back to this villa, and recommend it to friends, but I would definately hire a car to get around. - Vikki, Taunton

We have had a fantastic holiday, villa is excellent. pool is great and children loved it! villa is great for children and babies and plenty of room and clean. local shop closer than we thought and well stocked with meat counter which is great for barbeque and lots of wine! local bus service is great once you work times out, car is not essential but would be handy but as villa is lovely didn`t need to really go anywhere. we picked lemons off trees in back garden which are handy for drinks! we recommend phrase book as villa is quite rural and no-one speaks english but good fun though! andy was more than helpful and we were greeted well and even bottles of wine were left in villa for our arrival along with basics. overall wonderful week and we`ll be back next year! - Sam and Dean from Lydney

A superb property, well described and located in an excellent position for a peaceful holiday. With the addition of a car we were able to explore the area of the Costa Blanca. The advantage of the property being divided into two seperate areas meant we were able to share the holiday with the in-laws without being in each others pockets throughout. Efforts were made by Andy both at the start and end of the holiday to ensure we had an enjoyable time. This property is highly recommended and we hope to revisit in the future. We found the villa to be very well located. It was within an easy 5 minute drive of many shops, bars, etc and yet benefitted from a quiet, rural location. The site is totally fenced in providing a safe environment for children. The pool is a great plus for the kids. There were many "extras" including internet access, TV/DVD/Video, telephone with free evening calls and air conditioning. We found the fact that the villa is split into two apartments to be great, allowing us to share a holiday with friends but yet still have some privacy. We did suffer one or two minor issues on day one but Andy was always available by phone to help out. In fact, he could not have been more helpful. The accomodation was comfortable and there was varied sitting out space where you could also seek shade. The pool was excellent and easy to maintain and was a godsend as the temperature was always in the 30's. Well equipped and with 2 seperate apartments there is plenty of space. Although we did not use a car I would recommend one but chose not to drive. With the bus stop across from the villa, a bus went into town every 80 mins and the "local" shop was well stocked and only a 10 minute walk. The location although rural was peaceful with plenty of birds, horses and other local wildlife with bats appearing before dusk! The Owner was in touch with us to check everything was ok and to ensure our airport transfer was arranged. We had a fantastic week and were very sorry to leave. - Alistair from Glenrothes.
